Crystal Anderson King is an award-winning advocate for diverse suppliers and civil rights. She joined Grady Health System in March 2019 as the Director of Supplier Diversity & Equity. In this role, she works to identify, mentor, and engage diverse suppliers in Grady’s supply chain process.
Grady is committed to providing quality, comprehensive healthcare in a compassionate, culturally competent, ethical, and fiscally responsible manner. That commitment extends to the procurement process and the acquisition of the highest quality products and services that provide Grady and its patients the greatest value possible. A cornerstone of those efforts is a diverse supplier base. Grady is absolutely committed to inclusion in its procurement activities.
Before joining the health system, Crystal enjoyed a 15-year career at Georgia Power Company where she worked in multiple disciplines including Sales Compensation, Contract Management, Corporate Relations, and Supplier Diversity. Her roles in Corporate Relations and Supplier Diversity have led to many deep-rooted relationships in the community.
Crystal earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Robert Morris University in Chicago. She currently serves on the Local Board for AID Atlanta, the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Business League, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter. She is a mulTi-year Atlanta Business League Woman of Influence and was the co-chair for Super Tuesday in 2019. Crystal is an active member of The BronzeLens Film Festival host committee, and the Phi Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Crystal resides in Snellville, GA with her husband, David King. She is the proud mother of two adult sons, David and Darius.
