Vickie Irwin-Avery has held positions of CFO, Contract Management Manager, Supplier Diversity Manager, Supplier Development Project Manager, and Supplier Development Consultant.
Vickie is vice-chair of the board of directors of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC), chair of the GMSDC Supplier Diversity Leadership Council, co-chair of the NMSDC Utility Industry Group, and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Other memberships include Georgia Society of CPAs, American Association of Blacks in Energy, and Project Management Institute-Atlanta Chapter.
She holds a BBA degree in Accounting from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta, GA, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Vickie is the recipient of the 2017 MogulCon Mogul Award for her support of women-owned businesses and two-time recipient of a Southern Company Excellence Award.
